Let’s Count and Discover
This morning, we read the book Chicka Chicka 1,2,3 written by Bill Martin Jr, Michael Sampson, and Lois Ehlert. During our music and movement time, we went outside to play on the playground! Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we worked on number matching. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we made numbers float! We did this by writing numbers on the back on a spoon and then we slowly lowered the spoon into a container of water and the number floated off the spoon! Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we used watercolor paints to find the hidden numbers on our papers.
