Goats

Today we read Big Red Barn by Margaret Wise Brown. In this book, we learned what all of the farm animals do when the farmer is away. During our math and cognition activity, we matched different farm animals to the foods that they make. We talked about how eggs come from chickens, milk comes from a cow, and sheep make wool yarn. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to practice writing the letter ‘F’ on our whiteboards. We wrote the letter in its lowercase and uppercase form. For our sensory and science activity, we did a milk the cow science experiment. We used a glove full of water and our teachers poked holes in the fingertips of the glove so we could pretend to milk a cow.
