It’s Fun Friday! Today we reread the book Scared Is… by Connie Colwell Miller. This was the students’ favorite book from the week and we reread it to reinforce new vocabulary words such as pounding (my heart is pounding) and gasp (quickly breathing in when you are surprised or scared). It is important to stop, breathe, and think ”What should I do?” During our math and cognition activity, we counted stars also matching numbers and colors. During the science and sensory activity, we explored sensory bins comparing one with moon sand and one with colored rice! For our literacy and fine motor activity, we practiced tracing lines on a flag.
