Wonderful Wednesday! Today we read the book Little Monkey Calms Down by Michael Dahl. This book is about Little Monkey who gets very sad, mad, and angry when his ice cream falls on the ground. Little Monkey tries taking breaths, cuddling with his blanket, singing a quiet song, setting still his body then he is ready for a fun day. During our math and cognition activity, we identified bigger and smaller butterflies. For our sensory and science activity, we made our own rain stick using cardboard tubes and rice. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we wrote the letter Q in sensory trays.

CLC will be closed Monday, August 14th to Monday, August 21st for our teacher work week.

Our mandatory orientation for the new school year will be from Tuesday, August 15th through Thursday, August 17th. There will be a sign up sheet outside of the office.

Our 2023-2024 school year session will begin on Tuesday, August 22nd!
