Flowers Blooming

Today we read The Carrot Seed by Ruth Krauss. In this book, we learned that planting a carrot seed is just like planting a flower seed because they both take time to grow. For our math and cognition activity, we recognized different shapes on some flower clip cards. Then we used our fine motor skills to practice tracing different lines on our flower garden papers. During our sensory and science activity, we made flowers and other Spring related objects using our playdough. We also got the parachute out this morning for music and movement time and had a blast!
