Today we read the book The Leaves on the Trees by Thom Wiley. In this book, we learned about different types of leaves and their colors, we also learned that when leaves are ready they fall from the trees. For our math and cognition activity, we matched different leaves. We took each took one leaf and had to find the match in a pile of leaves. Then we used literacy and fine motor skills to practice writing our letter of the week. During our sensory and science activity, we did a fall sink or float science experiment. We used a leaf, some acorns, rocks, and a pinecone to see what would sink and what would float.

We will be having our family fun night on October 13th from 4:30pm to 6pm.

Our parent-teacher conferences will be held on October 25th and 27th. We will have a sign up form closer to these dates.
