Emotions

Yay, it is Friday! Today we read The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog. In the book we saw how Pigeon found a hotdog and then his friend the duckling was wanting him to share the hotdog, but at first Pigeon did not want to share. By the end of the story, we see that pigeon does finally share the hot dog with the duckling. After we read the book, our teachers asked us how we can be good friends by sharing with others and that it can make them happy as well. During our math and cognition activity, we did a emotion color and shape activity where we had to identify what the shape and color was. Then, we used our sensory and science skills with emotion shakers and we identified what it might feel like on the inside when we are each of the emotions. For our literacy and fine motor activity, we practiced our tracing skills by using markers to trace the lines on our paper.
