Soup
Today we read the book Stone Soup by Jon J Muth. This book is about a village that worked together in making a huge pot of stone soup. Everyone collectively added various things to the pot of soup. The village then feasted together. This book helped to teach us about community and teamwork. Today for our math and cognition activity we made patterns out of food. For science and sensory time we used kitchen utensils to cut and shape play-doh. Lastly, for our fine motor and literacy time we practiced cutting.
