Deck the Palms
This morning, we read the book If You Take a Mouse to the Movies written by Laura Numeroff and illustrated by Felicia Bond. During our music and movement time, we went outside to beat the heat. Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we worked on color and number recognition using Uno cards and BINGO daubers. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we wrote our names in sand. Then we painted our hands green to make Christmas Palm Trees. Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we listened to a book on tape.

CLC will be closed from Monday, August 17th-Monday, August 24th for our Teacher Work Week. We will be back in session on Tuesday, August 25th for the first day of the 2026-2027 school year.
