We are so glad to be back from our summer break! This week we will be learning about camping and the things we can do while camping. We read the book We’re Going on a Nature Hunt by Steve Metzger. In this book, a group of friends go on a walk out in nature as they are out camping in the woods. For our sensory and science activity, we decorated our very own camping tents. We each got a tent on a piece of paper and we were able to color our tent however we would like to. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to practice writing our name. During our math and cognition activity, we did a camping matching game where we took a camping picture and matched its shadow.
