Apple Tree

Today we read Visit to an Apple Orchard by Melvin and Gilda Berger. In this book, we pretended to visit an apple orchard where we saw many apple trees. During our math and cognition activity, we counted apple seeds in one half of the apple. We had to take how many seeds we counted and find the corresponding number that matches. Then we used our fine motor and literacy skills to listen to a book on tape. For our sensory and science activity, we painted using a half of an apple. Our teacher cut it in half and we got to see all of the little seeds inside before dipping it into the paint.
