Today we read Apple Countdown by Joan Holub. In this book, the children go on a field trip to the apple farm and they counted down from twenty. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we practiced our cutting skills by cutting up colorful pieces of paper. Then we used our sensory and science skills to make different apple themed things with playdough. We made apple trees, apples, the seeds of an apple, and baskets to put apples in. For our math and cognition activity, we finished apple patterns. We had to take each pattern and look at each of the colors of the apples.

~Important Upcoming Dates~

CLC will be closed October 7th for a teacher work day.

We will be having our family fun night on October 13th from 4:30pm to 6pm.

Our parent-teacher conferences will be held on October 25th and 27th. We will have a sign up form closer to these dates.
