“A” is for Alien
This morning, we read the book Planets Around the Sun written by Seymour Simon. During our music and movement time, we covered foam apples with foil and had an asteroid toss. Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we played a matching game with pictures of the planets. Next, for our science and sensory lesson we made a rocket! We did this by putting yarn through a straw, then we taped the straw to an inflated balloon, next we let the air out of the balloon and watched it race away on the yarn. Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson we painted our hands green and made them into Aliens!

CLC will be closed from Monday, August 17th-Monday, August 24th for our Teacher Work Week. We will be back in session on Tuesday, August 25th for the first day of the 2026-2027 school year.
