A Bright Start to a Wonderful School Year!
This morning, we read the book Mouse Loves School written by Lauren Thompson and illustrated by Bucket Erdogan. During our music and movement time, we stretched our bodies with yoga poses and shook our sillies out with Danny Go! Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we worked on sequencing by making hamburger orders. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we put different kinds of school supplies in our sensory bin. Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we strengthened our 3-finger grips by using push pins and tracing lines.

CLC will be closed on Friday, September 3rd through Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. We will be back in session on Tuesday, September 8th.
