Countdown to Thanksgiving
Happy Monday! Today we read the book Countdown to Thanksgiving by Jodi Huelin. This book teaches us about Thanksgiving traditions and things we might do with our families during this holiday. During our math and cognition activity we matched together different types of pies. For science and sensory time we created Thanksgiving placemats by tracing our handprints and cutting them out to make turkeys. Lastly, for our fine motor and literacy we practiced spelling our names by using feathers with letters on them and putting them in order to make a turkey.

CLC will have our family Thanksgiving meal from 11:30 am -1 pm on Friday, November 17th. If you plan on joining us please sign up at the front office.
