We use our tongues to taste!
This morning, we read the book Look, Listen, Taste, Touch, and Smell written by Pamela Hill Nottleton and illustrated by Becky Shinpe. During our music and movement time, we danced the wiggle dance and then stretched our bodies with some yoga. Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we used Uno cards to make Christmas lights! As we turned over an Uno card, we had to match the color and the number to let us know how many lights we needed. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we filled our sensory bin with textured fabrics. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy lesson, we practiced tracing and writing our names.
