‘W’ is for Walrus!

Today we read the book Snow Bear by Miriam Moss and illustrated by Maggie Kneen. This morning, during our math and cognition lesson, we matched polar animals to the tracks that they make in the snow and we finished our polar bear activity from yesterday. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we did a science experiment to see how polar bear uses their blubber to stay warm in the cold. Finally, for our fine motor and literacy lesson, we made the letter ‘W’ into a walrus’! Chippy the Elf brought us an “Apple Watch” but instead of an actual watch he had an apple with numbers on it to look like a watch.
