Today we read Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. This book show us the adventure that a little boy had to the rainforest were many wild creatures were there. For our sensory and science activity, we watched our bubble snake science experiment. Our teacher cut the bottom of a water bottle and placed a clean sock over the bottom. We then mixed some soap and water in another container and dipped the sock covered bottle into the soapy water and watched our teacher blow the little bubble snakes. Then we used our math and cognition skills to do an animal shadow matching game. For this game we had to recognize the animal and match it to the matching shadow. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we practiced writing our letter of the week. This week’s letter is the letter ‘P’ so our worksheet had words that started with this letter.
