“V” is for Very Hungary Caterpillars!

This morning, we read the book The Very Busy Spider written and illustrated by Eric Carle. During our music and movement time, we played with balloons! Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we worked on number recognition. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we made growing caterpillars from paper towels. We did this by coloring a paper towel, then we rolled them up around a pencil, after we removed the “caterpillar” from the pencil, we carefully dropped water on it, and we were able to watch it grow! Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we used balloons to make our own “Very Hungary Caterpillars.”
