Turkey Trot
Today we read the book The Great Turkey Race by Steve Metzger and illustrated by Jim Paillot. During our math and cognition lesson, we matched and sorted some very yummy looking Thanksgiving pies. Then, during our science and sensory lesson, we made our own fake Thanksgiving Day feast using playdough. Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we practiced our cutting skills! We also started to get into the holiday spirt today by putting up our Christmas Tree! We had a great time hanging the ornaments and decorating the tree! We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our Family Thanksgiving Meal tomorrow!
