To the moon and back.
This morning, we read the book Zoom! Zoom! Zoom! I’m off to the moon! written by Dan Yaccarino. During our music and movement time, we stretched with yoga and Danny Go! Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we sorted stars by color. Next, for our science and sensory lesson we used a space station toy set to see how astronauts work in space. Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson we wrote our names and drew lines with constellation dot to dot papers.

CLC will be closed from Monday, August 17th-Monday, August 24th for our Teacher Work Week. We will be back in session on Tuesday, August 25th for the first day of the 2026-2027 school year.
