T-Rex
Today we read How do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight by Jane Yolen and illustrated by Mark Teague. In this book, we learned that dinosaurs don’t get upset about going to bed and they just give their families hugs and go to sleep. During our first activity, we used our math and cognition skills to count dinosaurs on some counting clip cards. We counted each group of dinosaurs and then we recognized the number of dinosaurs each card had. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to listen to a book on tape about dinosaurs. For our sensory and science activity, we made a dinosaur painting. We painted our dinosaurs using the tops of lego brinks.
