T is for Toothbrush

Happy Wednesday! Today we read the book Hippo’s Tooth Surprise by Marjorie Dennis Murray. In this book, Hippo experiences a toothache, which leads the whole jungle to come together to try and make him feel better. First, during our math and cognition activity, we sorted bones into large, medium, and small categories. Then, during our science and sensory activity, we added glitter to a bowl of water to represent the germs on our hands. After introducing soap into the bowl, we observed the glitter dispersing, simulating the cleansing effect of handwashing. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy activity, we did our letter creation.

Friday, May 10th CLC will have Muffins for Mom @2:30, and will be closing @3:00 for a staff meeting. Please make sure to pick your child up before then.

Camdenton R-III school year ends Tuesday, May 21st @1:00 p.m.

CLC Graduation and end of year celebration will be held Thursday, May 23rd @4:45 p.m.

CLC will be closed Friday, May 24th for a teacher work day.
