Sharks

It’s a wonderful Wednesday! Today we read the book Commotion in the Ocean by Giles Andreae. This book is about all the different animals like sharks, jellyfish, and whales in the ocean and how they move to do the things that they do. For our math and cognition activity, we matched the heads and tails of different animals that live in the ocean. During our sensory and science activity, we predicted what items would sink or float in a tub of water and then we dropped the item into the water. During gross motor time, we bounced balls around in a parachute. We also learned about the letter M and made our own letter books using our literacy and fine motor skills.
