Sense of Smell

Today we read the book Our Noses Can Smell by Jodi Wheeler-Toppen. This morning, during our math and cognition lesson, we worked on shape recognition while we traced shapes and practiced writing the shapes’ names. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we filled our sensory bin with different textures to feel. Finally, for our fine motor and literacy lesson, we practiced our letter sounds and began building words. Chippy the Elf had a very comfortable seat at CLC today as he was snug as a bug in our tissue box!
