“S” is for Solider
This morning, Ms. Katie came to see us from the Health Department! She read us a book about being kind, and how to be a “Bucket Filler” by doing kind things for other people. During circle time, we also read the book We are So Proud written by Donna Lango and illustrated by Luciana Navarro Powell. During our music and movement time, we played with balloons! We talked about static electricity and rubbed the balloons on our heads to make our hair stand up, we even had a balloon get stuck to the celling! Next, during our math and cognition lesson, we matched army figurines together. Then, during our science and sensory lesson, we filled a tray with baking soda and we put red and blue coloring in vinegar. Then, we each got a turn to fill an eye dropper and drop the colored vinegar to see a chemical reaction between the baking soda and vinegar. Finally, for our fine motor and literacy lesson, we put made a Solider using different shaped paper!
