Roar-some Fun at CLC Today!
This morning, we read the book Dinosaur Hunt written by David Catrow. During our music and movement time, we went to the playground to enjoy a cooler morning! Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we sorted bones by size. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we made a lava lamp in a jar! We did this by filling a jar with baby oil and water, then we dropped food coloring in the jar and added an Alka-Seltzer tablet and watched as the food coloring moved all around. Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we made dinosaur fossils. We did this using air-dry clay and small dinosaur figurines.

CLC will be closed from Monday, August 17th-Monday, August 24th for our Teacher Work Week. We will be back in session on Tuesday, August 25th for the first day of the 2026 -2027 school year.
