‘R’ is for Rhyme!

This morning, we read the book Baa, Baa, Black Sheep. During our music and movement time, we had a super fun obstacle course. We had to hop on twinkling stars, jump over the moon, and climb through a tunnel like a spider. For our math and cognition lesson, we matched uppercase letters to lowercase letters. Next, during our sensory and science lesson, we dropped an egg from up high and one from down low to see if it would crack like Humpy, Dumpty. We discovered that if Humpy Dumpy had fallen on something soft he most likely would not have cracked open. Finally, for our fine motor and literacy lesson, we practiced classic nursery rhymes and made a muffin just like the muffin man.
