Q is for Quilt and Q-tip!
This morning, we read the book The Snow Must Go On written by Molly Wigand and illustrated by Mike Esberg. During our music and movement time, we had a fun obstacle course to go through. We practiced summersaults and climbing over the bridge. Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we matched winter clothes together. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we made rain in a jar! We did this by putting water in a mason jar, then we put shaving cream on top to act as a cloud, then we dropped food coloring on the “cloud” and we watched as the food coloring ran through the “cloud” to rain in our jar. Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we painted a big letter Q with Q-tips to make a quilt like design.
