Pumpkins

This week we are learning about pumpkins. We read the book Pumpkin Trouble by In this book, a duck got stuck in a pumpkin after trying to carve it and his friends thought he was a pumpkin monster trying to get him. During our math and cognition activity, we did a jack-o-lantern matching. We matched each face of the pumpkins to the correct spot on the paper. Then we used our sensory and science skills to make a pumpkin patch using our thumb. We dipped our thumb into orange paint and made five pumpkins in our pumpkin patch. For our literacy and fine motor activity, we practiced writing our names on our white boards.
