Pinwheel, Pinwheel Spinning Around!
Today we read the book When the Fly Flew in by Lisa Westberg Peters and illustrated by Brad Sneed. During our math and cognition lesson, we matched bugs together. Next, for our sensory and science lesson, we learned about the life cycle of a butterfly. We learned a really big new word, metamorphosis, that is what a caterpillar goes through when it turns into a butterfly! Finally, for our fine motor and literacy lesson, we made butterflies!
