Picking Apples
Happy Wednesday! Today we read the book The Fall Festival by Mercer Mayer. In this book we went with Little Critter and his family to the fall festival. We learned about different activities from picking apples to hayrides to choosing the perfect pumpkin. During our math and cognition activity we sorted apples by color. Then during our science and sensory activity, we did an experiment with apple seeds. Our teacher mixed baking soda with water then added the apple seeds. We then watched as our teacher poured vinegar into the water and made the apple seeds dance. Then during our fine motor and literacy we did a letter creation.
~Upcoming Important Events~
CLC will be closed Friday, October 20th for a Teacher Work day.
Parent-Teacher conferences will be held October 24th-26th. We will have more information to come.
