People live in different places, but we are all just the same!

This morning, we read the book I Ain’t Gonna Paint No More written by Karen Beaumont and illustrated by David Catrow. During our music and movement time, we tried dances from all around the world. We did dances from Mexico, Ireland, and India! Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we sorted maple leaves from the Canadian flag by size and we used flags from Germany and the U.S. to make patterns. Next, for our science and sensory lesson we used playdough to make our favorite Italian dishes. And, finally for our literacy and fine motor lesson we used scissors to work on our cutting skills.
