Peguins

Did you know there are 17 different types of penguins? Today we read the book Penguins by Jill Esbaum. This book taught us all about what penguins endeavor throughout their life in the arctic. Today for our math and cognition activity we created patterns out of ice cubes. For science and sensory we did a “what makes ice melt faster” experiment. Using three different ice cubes we tested salt, sugar, and water. We quickly came to the consensus that salt makes it melt the fastest. Lastly for our fine motor and literacy activity we practiced our cutting skills.
