Paper Toothbrushes

We have had such a fun day today! First, we read the book Tooth On The Loose by Linda Jennings and illustrated by Gwyneth Williamson. The goat in this book had a terrible toothache that wouldn’t go away so his friends all tried helping him feel better. For our sensory and science activity, we talked about clean hands using our sensory bags that our teachers made for us. The sensory bag had little beads that we called germs inside of the hand that was drawn on the bag, we had to move all of the germs off of the hand. During our literacy and fine motor activity, we made paper toothbrush names. We had to glue our name in the correct order onto our paper toothbrush. Once we glued on our names we saw that our names became the bristles of the toothbrush. For our last activity, we used our math and cognition skills to recognize and draw different shapes on our whiteboard using shape stencils.
