“P” is for Planet!
This morning, we read the book My Book of Planets written by Elise See Tai and illustrated by Kuo Kang Chen. During music and movement time, we pretended that we were on the planet Venus, which as lots of lava and volcano on it, so we played “The Floor is Lava.” Then we played freeze dance, but we had to act like we were freezing cold because it is very cold in outer space. During our math and cognition lesson, we matched the planets together. For our science and sensory lesson, we made a balloon powered rocket! Finally, during our fine motor and literacy lesson, we used our marble paintings to create our own planets!
