One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish!

This morning, we read the book One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish written by Dr. Seuss. During our music and movement time, we stretched our bodies with yoga poses. Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we learned about color mixing. We learned that the primary colors are red, blue, and yellow. But if we mix blue and yellow, we get green! And if we mix red and blue, we get purple! And if we mix red and yellow, we get orange! Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we filled the sensory bin with pom poms and different scoops and tubes to put them through. Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we practiced tracing lines and writing our names.
