“O” is for Oven Mitt!
This morning, we read the book Tony Baroni Loves Macaroni written by Marilyn Sadler and illustrated by Lucie Crovatto. During our music and movement time, we played with different sized and texture balls. Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we talked about what foods are hot and cold. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we got a cup of water and sprinkled a thick layer of cinnamon on top of the water. Then, we put our finger in the cup and the cinnamon surrounded our fingers and they did not get wet! Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we made oven mitts for our letter of the week creation.
