“O” is for Opposites!

This morning, we read the book What’s Up, Duck? A Book of Opposites written by Tad Hills. During music and movement time, we played catch with one another and we danced! During our math and cognition lesson, we sorted summer clothes from winter clothes. For our science and sensory lesson, we put a little bit of water on a plate, then we covered the surface of the water with black pepper that represented dirt. Then we dropped one drop of soap and watched as all of the “dirt” moved to the sides. We also dropped heavy and light items. The feather floated slowly to the table, while the bolt fell quickly and made a loud sound. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy lesson, we made day and night pictures!
