Numbers!
Today we read the book The Crayon’s Book of Numbers by Drew Daywalt and illustrated by Oliver Jeffries. During our math and cognition lesson we counted all of the circles, triangle, square and rectangles we could find! Next, during sensory and science we practiced writing numbers in sand, the children took notice of how soft the sand was and they really enjoyed shaking the tray to reset their sand numbers. Finally during out fine motor and literacy lesson we practiced writing our names and numbers.
