My Body

Happy Monday! Today we are learning about our bodies. We read Hooray for You: A Celebration of “You-ness” by Marianne Richmond. In this book, we learned how each one of us is special and unique. During our math and cognition activity, we played a counting game called roll and grab bones. We rolled our dice to figure how many Q-tip bones we needed to pick up. Then we used our literacy and fine motor skills to practice writing our names. We wrote our names on one side of our papers. On the other side of the paper we used our sensory and science skills to draw our bodies. We talked about how our bodies have bones, our lungs, our heart, and much more.
