“M” is for Moon!
This morning, we read the book Let’s Go Fishing written by Virgina Ponds and illustrated by Adriana Predoi. During our music and movement time, we made a tent using one of our parachutes, then we gathered inside and told stories to one another. Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we worked on letter sound recognition by matching sounds together. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we made magic “unpoppable” bubbles! We did this by taking some water and dissolving a little bit of sugar in the water, then we added few drops of dish soap before we were able to blow bubbles on the table using a straw! We were even able to blow a bubble inside another bubble. Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we used a foil ball to paint pictures of a perfect moon.
