Seashells
Today we read the book Hooray for Fish! by Lucy Cousins. In this book Little Fish swims through the sea, encountering various fishy friends. There are red, blue, and yellow fish, spotty fish, stripy fish, and even a scary fish! But at the end of his journey, Little Fish receives a sweet reward—a kiss from the fish he loves the most: his mom. First, during our math and cognition activity, we used pictures of oceans to make patterns. Then, during our science and sensory activity, we use seashells to make imprints in play dough. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy activity, we practiced our cutting skills.
