Happy Monday!! This week we are learning all about letters! Today we read the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin, Jr. and John Archambault. In this book the lower-case letters climb a coconut tree but the tree bends and the letters fall out. Then the capital letters help the lower-case letters back into the tree. After reading the book we talked about how it was kind for the capital letters to help the lower-case letters and how they were being good friends. During our science and sensory activity, we made a coconut tree and then we glued letters to it like we seen in the book. Then during our math and cognition activity, we sorted letters. Then we used our fine motor and literacy skills to decorate our name with stickers.
