Let’s Chill like Polar Bears
This morning, we read the book Bear Stays Up for Christmas written by Karma Wilson. Ms. Katie from the Health Department came to see us today! She read us a book called Sick Simon and she talked to us about the importance of washing our hands so we can stay healthy. During our music and movement time, we shook our sillies out and played the floor is lava. Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we sorted polar animals by size. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we used playdough to create our own polar animals. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy lesson, we practiced cutting and we made our names into a Christmas tree!
