Ladybug, Ladybug…

Today we read the book The Very Hungary Caterpillar written and illustrated by Eric Carle. This morning we stretched our bodies by doing some yoga. During our math and cognition lesson, we worked on our shape recognition. We made our own very hungry caterpillar. During our sensory and science lesson, we filled our sensory bin with fake bugs! We also learned about the life cycles of ladybugs, honey bees, and butterflies. For our fine motor and literacy lesson, we practiced tracing ladybugs. We also went on a bug hunt on the playground this morning. We used magnifying glasses to carefully look on the playground for bugs
