My Best Friend has Fur!
This morning, we read the book Cool Dog, School Dog written by Deborah Heiligman and illustrated by Tim Bowers. During our music and movement time, we moved our bodies like our pets do! We slithered like snakes, walked the crabs, chased our tails like dogs, and flapped our arms like birds. Then, during our math and cognition lesson, we played Pet BINGO. Next, for our science and sensory lesson, we drew pictures of our pets! Finally, for our literacy and fine motor lesson, we practiced writing and tracing our names.
