I Love My Hair!
This morning, we read the book I Love My Hair, based on the lyrics from the song I Love My Hair, written by Joey Mazzarino and illustrated by Anthony Conley. During our math and cognition activity, we counted our teeth and learned that kids have 20 baby teeth and adults have 32 teeth! Then, during our science and sensory lesson, we used a straw to blow paint where we wanted it to go on our paper. Finally, during our fine motor and literacy lesson, we listened to a book on tape.

CLC will be closed on Monday, February 10th for a Teacher Work Day. We will be back in session on Tuesday, February 11th.
On Friday, February 14th we will be exchanging Valentine Cards. We have 28 children at CLC. Please only write only your child’s name on the Valentine Cards. We will be decorating a Valentine’s bag here at school.
CLC will be closed on Monday, February 17th in observance of President’s Day. We will be back in session on Tuesday, February 18th.
