Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween! We had our trunk or treating this morning and got many yummy treats while wearing our costumes. Today we read Biscuit’s Pet & Play Halloween by Alyssa Capucilli. In this book, Biscuit and his friends go trick or treating and they find some scary costumes along the way. During our math and cognition activity, we put together monster puzzles. We found each of the puzzle pieces and lined them up with the other pieces of the puzzle to make each of the monsters. Then we used our sensory and science skills to make a paper plate ghost. We glued our face of our ghost onto our paper plate before we finished the ghost’s body. For our literacy and fine motor activity, we practiced writing our names. We had a teacher help us spell and write our names if we didn’t know how to.
