Autumn is here
Leaves are falling down! Today we read the book The Leaves on the Trees by Thomas Wiley. This book taught us about different types of trees and what their leaves look like during this fall season. During our math and cognition activity we matched together different types of leaves based on color and shape. For our science and sensory activity we did a sink or float experiment by dropping acorns, leaves, and rocks into a bucket of water. Lastly, during our fine motor and literacy time we turned our letter I into ice cubes and practiced writing I with shaving cream.
~Important Upcoming Events~
CLC will be closed Friday, October 20th for a Teacher-Work day.
Parent-Teacher conferences will be held October 24th-26th. We have a sign up sheet at the front office. Let us know if you need a different time. We can schedule a time that works for everyone.
